why is that boy SO oblivious? most people know that their mother's are crazy and yet this dude who really has psycho mom can't tell?
and i don't really get gwyneth, is she hot?
then grandma is all "you need to watch out for martha." ok, how about "martha is freakin' psychotic, and if you leave her maybe you should worry about her murdering you." now, that would be a head's up!
salena, i love you and i do have to admit that i was entertained, but i would like to know why this is your favorite summer movie. i did think the son was pretty cute though, i like my men dark...ok, my man i mean. and maybe not dark, but definitely toasty. (and NOT like above, only maybe 1/4 of like above.) lol...

i think that gweneth is not hot- but she is beautiful and subtle and endearing. but then it is awesome when she turns into a hard ars.
i can totally value that. the parts you quoted were really great. and it think you are right about liking movies, sometimes it is the tiniest detail, or character, or even the environment that you first watched it in... the littlest deatils can make a movie. like. i still remember watching meet joe black with one of my boyfriends. and he was dark and curious like joe... and that movie will always have a piece of him in it. and i love the cakes in that movie- little things. and when the dad makes the speech at his birthday party, they filmed it without having ever rehearsing... so the feeling and the tears of the crowd was totally real. and i love that. a whole love of a movie can be based on the simplest things. AND THAT IS WHY it so great to know your fave movies and be able to blog about why- so we can know the nooks&crannies of eachother! love love love.

i remember watching "only the strong" a million bazillion times when i was younger and thinking that movie was the COOLEST. and i know if i watched it tonight i would love it, but you all would probably not. and then you'd tease me about the fact that the main guy looks like brennen, and that the acting is horrible and the plot is weak and the dialogue is silly, and i'd still love it anyways. so yay for sharing, but i still am scared for you future daughter in laws...except for averie of course.
